  • 200g/7oz lean ground beef
  • 1 medium carrot, finely diced
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon barley powder
  • 120ml/½ cup low-sodium beef broth (no onion/garlic)

METHOD
  1. Heat your pot over medium heat
  2. Add ground beef, breaking it up with a wooden spoon until no pink remains (6-7 minutes)

  4. Drain excess fat if present
