This frozen peanut butter cake is made with dog-friendly ingredients like peanut butter and bananas, ensuring it’s healthy and enjoyable for your pet. It takes about 20 minutes to prepare and requires freezing time, making it a refreshing treat for warm days.
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsweetened peanut butter (make sure it’s xylitol-free)
- 1 ripe banana, mashed
- 1 cup plain yogurt (unsweetened and unflavored)
- 1/4 cup honey (optional)
- 2 cups mixed dog-safe fruits (optional, like blueberries or diced apples)
Instructions
- Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine peanut butter, mashed banana, and yogurt. Stir until well combined. If using honey, add it to the mixture and mix thoroughly.
- Add Fruits: Fold in any dog-safe fruits you wish to include in the batter for added flavor and nutrition.
- Pour into Mold: Transfer the mixture into a silicone cake mold or pet-friendly dish, smoothing the top as needed.
- Freeze: Place the mold in the freezer and let it freeze for at least 4 hours, or until solid.
