This Peanut Butter Carrot Cake is made with fresh carrots and creamy peanut butter, baked into a moist cake that’s safe for dogs. The recipe takes about 1 hour to prepare and bake, yielding a delightful cake that serves multiple pups!
Ingredients
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 cup peanut butter (natural, no xylitol)
- 1 cup grated carrots
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a round cake pan.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, rolled oats, and baking powder.
