This Autumn Pumpkin Dog Cake is made with pureed pumpkin, oats, and a touch of cinnamon, providing a delightful treat for your dog. The recipe takes about an hour to prepare and bake, and it serves as a great way to celebrate the fall season with your pet.
Ingredients
- 1 cup canned pumpkin (unsweetened)
- 1/2 cup peanut butter (xylitol-free)
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour (or gluten-free flour)
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon (optional)
- 1/4 cup honey (optional, adjust for dog’s dietary needs)
- Frosting (optional): 1/2 cup Greek yogurt and 1 tablespoon peanut butter mixed together
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan or use parchment paper.
