This dog-friendly cake is made with carob powder, whole wheat flour, and natural sweeteners, providing a rich and satisfying flavor for dogs. The recipe takes about an hour to prepare and bake, resulting in a small cake suitable for sharing or for an extra special doggy feast.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup carob powder
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup low-fat yogurt for frosting (optional)
  • Carob chips for decoration (optional)

Instructions
