Healthy Chicken Vegetable Cake Recipe for Dogs
This dog-friendly cake features shredded chicken mixed with carrots and peas, all baked in a sweet potato base. It takes about 45 minutes from start to finish and serves as a delightful birthday treat for dogs.
Ingredients
- 1 cup shredded cooked chicken
- 1/2 cup grated carrots
- 1/2 cup peas (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup sweet potato, cooked and mashed
- 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/4 cup chicken broth (low sodium)
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- Peanut butter or yogurt for frosting (optional)
Instructions
- Prep the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.
