This dog cake features wholesome ingredients like whole wheat flour, peanut butter, and mashed bananas, creating a moist and tasty treat. The recipe takes about 1 hour, including preparation and baking time, and serves multiple pups depending on their size.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup mashed bananas (about 1 large banana)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Optional: dog-friendly frosting or yogurt for topping
  • Optional: dog treats for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a round cake pan or muffin tin.
