Yogurt Cheesecake With Creamy Homemade Flavor

I made this yogurt cheesecake for my dog Oliver’s birthday last month. The yogurt made the filling tangy, and he ate the first piece without hesitation.

Delicious Yogurt Cheesecake for Dogs

This cheesecake features creamy yogurt, fresh fruit, and a crumbly crust that dogs will adore. The recipe takes about 30 minutes to prepare and sets in the refrigerator for a few hours, making it an easy and enjoyable treat for your dog.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 ripe banana, mashed
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup honey (optional, adjust for sweetness)
  • 1 cup crushed dog-friendly biscuits or graham crackers
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust: In a mixing bowl, combine crushed dog-friendly biscuits with melted coconut oil until well mixed. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form a base.
  2. Mix the Filling: In another bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, mashed banana, applesauce, and honey. Mix until smooth and well incorporated.
  3. Assemble the Cheesecake: Pour the yogurt mixture over the crust in the springform pan, spreading evenly.
  4. Chill: Cover the cheesecake with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  5. Serve: Once set, carefully slice the cheesecake into portions suitable for your dog and serve it cold. Make sure to keep leftovers in the refrigerator.
