This cheesecake features creamy yogurt, fresh fruit, and a crumbly crust that dogs will adore. The recipe takes about 30 minutes to prepare and sets in the refrigerator for a few hours, making it an easy and enjoyable treat for your dog.
Ingredients
- 2 cups plain Greek yogurt
- 1 ripe banana, mashed
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/4 cup honey (optional, adjust for sweetness)
- 1 cup crushed dog-friendly biscuits or graham crackers
- 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
Instructions
- Prepare the Crust: In a mixing bowl, combine crushed dog-friendly biscuits with melted coconut oil until well mixed. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form a base.
- Mix the Filling: In another bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, mashed banana, applesauce, and honey. Mix until smooth and well incorporated.
- Assemble the Cheesecake: Pour the yogurt mixture over the crust in the springform pan, spreading evenly.
- Chill: Cover the cheesecake with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
